Your teen will have the opportunity to complete courses on an accelerated basis. If your teen is behind in school, our academic program will help your teen catch up to their current class and may even allow your teen to accelerate beyond his or her current grade level. Many of the courses are provided on computers using state of the art curriculum that includes interactive features, graphs, illustrations and other multimedia teaching. All courses are performance based: Your teen will receive credits when it is demonstrated that the subject matter has been mastered. What this means to you is that the education your teen will get is earned based on learning. Both junior high and high school courses are offered.

Our schools for troubled teen use a behavior modification system which consists of six levels. Our schools for troubled teen will monitor your teen 24/7. The schools offer a structured, controlled, firm and caring environment. Your teen will begin on Level 1, with privileges revoked and basic needs met. Privileges are earned back based on your teen's ability to learn and respect the rule system: Points are awarded for successful completion of scheduled activities and assignments. Likewise, consequences are assigned, points deducted and earned privileges revoked for rule violations. Your teen will be taught accountability and coping strategies throughout the program. By the time he or she reach Level 6, your teen will have earned many privileges back including off ground activities, school activities and home visits. After admission is complete, your teen will be given a full physical examination and a school assessment, and given an personalized educational program, which is begun immediately.

Your teen has great potential and the behaviors you see exhibited are due to issues of an emotional nature. Our schools work with your child in experientially-based emotional growth seminars and workshops designed to empower your teen to stand in his or her own excellence, be accountable, responsible and have integrity.
